Are you up for a New Year morning run?
Perth parkrun is looking for a big turnout for Thursday 1st of January. Start time 9:30 as usual.
And you can make it a parkrun double. Head on to Dundee’s Camperdown Park (25m or so by car) and run there too. The Camperdown run will start at 11am.
Both will count towards your parkrun total.
You could double up with a run at Forfar Road Runners’ Blairgowrie Fun Run (NB this is not a parkrun event). Starts at 1pm – Or you could go for a treble – Perth, Camperdown and Blair.
Note too – there will be the usual Saturday runs on Dec 27th and January 3rd.
The first Lark in the Dark for this winter will take place on Tuesday November 11th at 6:30 pm at Deuchny Woods. Meet at Jubilee Car Park, Kinnoull Hill.
The same rules apply as previous years; you will need a torch but can’t have a watch or Garmin etc.
For anyone who hasn’t done one before, the route will be anything between 3 and 5 miles. The route will be marked out so you don’t get lost (hopefully.) The idea is to have some fun in the winter nights.
The Hartley Relay will be held on 16 November at East Neuk, Fife. More details will be circulated soon.
There will be a time trail at the track session on Thursday November 6th as per other years. This will help Grant to plan the teams for the event.
