The Braemar half marathon took place on Sunday as part of the Championship.13 PRRS completed the course with Kenny Stewart taking the honours in his flying pink shorts with a time of 1.40.51, Stewart Reid was next home in 1.42.58,Stewart Dallas 1.44.25,Big Baz Capmbell 1.47.05, Steven Gilbert 1.55.42,Pete Ritchie 1.56.17, Bob Brown 1.56.41.Margaret Mcintosh was the First Lady home from the runners in 2.02.44,Closely followed by Gillian Smith in2.05.44,Sally Newton 2.10.42,Jean MCullough 2.20.29,Caroline Ness,2.25.59,Eleanor Paul2.26.25 with Fiona Morrison completing the PRRS 2.39.50.
The Stirling 10k also took place on Sunday and a field of over 800 took part.12 Road Runners made the journey with magnificent performances from Myles Bax managing 33.47 and Greg Simpson running 33.53 gaining 28th and 29th places respectively.Mike Souter was next home in 37.47 .jimmy Fotheringham 39.20,Martin Mcewen 39.36,Stuart Robertson 40.35,Derek Mcintosh 40.57,Simon Grieshaber 41.27,Claire Douglas was the First Lady PRR home in 42.51,Ruth Johnson 55.06,Gillian Douglas 55.06 and Eleanor Martin completing the green vests home in 1.24.18.
Nicola Crowe travelled down to Newcastle to do the Great North Run and finished in 5780 place out of a field of 57,000.Running a time of 1hr 49 mins.A great performance from a Perth Road Running Legend!

Pitlochry 10k was the venue on Sunday for the Perth Road Runners. Eilidh Child our very own 400metre hurdler who won a commonwealth silver medal in 2014 was their to start the race and give out the prizes afterwards. Good running conditions prevailed at another well organised event.300 runners took part and Myles Bax continued his impressive form coming 3rd in 33.55, closely followed by Greg Simpson in34.47,Mark Dunn also sped home in 37.37 with Stuart Robertson on the comeback trail with a fine 38.36.Jimmy Fotheringham ran an impressive 38.51 Stuart Fraser was next in41.17 with Jordan Strachan 42.28,Stewart Reid 42.44.Richard Ward 44.12,Barry Campbell 46.33, Kenny Stewart 46.46,Roy Mitchell 48,Bob Brown 48.29,Gillian Smith 54.17 and a new PB,Shuna Reid 59.46,Fiona Morrison 1.09.09 and Robin Wombill completed the road runners home in 1.09.12.
Ronnie Glen was first home in the 5k men’s race in 19.55 With Amy Greig first female senior home in a time of 25.27. Well done to all the Road Runners for another great day out in with such cracking scenery.
